I just remembered a conversation Pat O'Bryan had with someone who was complaining about how hard things were and how tough things were and he delivered what I thought is, if not the best answer, at least a very good answer.

He said, "Why not get on the World Wide Web and none of these other things will affect you. Not the money supply, not what the government says, not what they do and best of all you can make good money helping solve other people's problems. That way you are no longer bothered by the ups and downs of what causes most people concerns."

This is a great reason and here are some other ones also.

You can get started for less than $100-$500. Hear me, you can get started for not that is all you will ever spend. You see an online business, is like everything else in life... a beginning, a middle and an end. Which we want to have a continuation. Start with $100-$500 to begin making some money on the internet. And making money is your first sign that you have a business and not just a hobby.

Another good reason to start an online business is the time frame is a lot smaller than an off-line business and the pay can be a lot more. Remember your initial investment is between $100-$500 and your ROI (return on investment) is a lot higher because starting an off-line business cost a lot, lot more to start. It is a better return on investment than your car note. The return on investment is higher than a real expensive dinner. One of the major values of owning an online business is the business allows you to have better things in your life, from cars, homes, dinners to more time to do what you want.

Another good reason for starting an online business is the fixed cost (rent, utilities, etc) are a lot less than an off-line business. You can run your online business wherever there is a computer and an Internet connection. It is the ultimate Laptop Lifestyle.

Also starting an online business has another advantage. Employee cost can be very low. Starting with you, you can make a six figure income before you build your business to the place where you can outsource some of the work. The places to hire these folks would be places like odesk and elance. You can get you great quality for very low cost.

Now building a list is really, really, really important, if you are planning on making a good living on the Internet. You see every successful off-line business knows that current customers spend 28% more than new customers and yet most of them do not work their customer base. They usually go after new customers through advertising.

On the internet there is a better way and that is getting current customers and potential customers, i.e. people who are interested in you and your product on your mailing list. The way to do that is present them with something of really good value for free and develop a relationship with them.
